Can (Lata)

Tin Art Work


Noong Nobyembre, isa sa mga lugar sa Manila na pinuntahan namin ni K ay ang San Agustin Church at ang museo nito. Hindi mahigpit ang mga guwardiya noon, kaya malaya akong nakakuha ng mga litrato sa loob ng museo, at isa sa mga nakapukaw ng aking atensyon ay ang artwork na ito. Hindi ko naisulat kung sino ang gumawa nito, pero karamihan sa mga artwork na nakalinya sa kwartong iyon ay gawa sa lata. Bihira akong makakita ng artwork na yari sa lata kaya naman manghang mangha ako sa creativity nito.

{Last November, one of the places K and I visited was the San Agustin Church and Museum. Guards weren't that strict with the guests (probably because there were only a few), so I was able to take pictures inside the museum, and one of the items that caught my attention was this piece of artwork. I wasn't able to get who was the artist behind this one, but most of the artworks lined up in the room was made out of tin. I rarely see artworks made of tin, so I was really impressed with the creativity.}
