Thunderbird Resorts - La Union


Sa pangalawang araw ng aming maiksing bakasyon sa La Union, dinala ko ang aking kaibigang si Ria sa iba't ibang simbahan sa La Union, at bago kami umuwi sa aming bahay sa Bacnotan, naisip kong dalhin siya sa Thunderbird Resorts sa San Fernando City. Isa ito sa pinakamahal na resorts na nakita ko (7000 pesos kada araw), pero pinapayagan naman nila ang mga turistang pumasok sa lugar. Gusto ko dito - parang nakarating na rin ako sa Greece kahit papaano, dahil naka-pattern ang resort sa Santorini.

{On the second day of our short vacation in La Union, I took my friend Ria in different churches in the province, and before we returned to our house in Bacnotan, I took her to the Thunderbird Resorts in San Fernando City. It was the most expensive resort I have ever seen (7000 pesos per night), but they do allow tourist to come in the grounds. I like it here - it was like traveling to Greece because the place was patterned after Santorini.}

Nasabi ko kay Ria na maganda ang sunset sa boardwalk, kaya dumaan kami sa may papuntang pool area para makarating sa boardwalk. Sa may pader sa may hagdanan, may mga butas at naisip kong kunan ng litrato ang pool area mula doon. :)

{I told Ria that the sunset was so beautiful from the boardwalk, so we walked by the pool area to get there. There were holes in the wall by the stairway, so I took a picture of the pool area from one of the holes.}

Hindi man kami nakapag-check in sa resort, ayos na rin... kahit papaano'y naranasan ko kung paano tumuloy doon.

{Although we couldn't afford to stay in this resort, it was all okay for me... at least I was able to experience being there.}
